the story.
The operating system for a one-person studio building things that matter.
Astrolabs is a creative lab working at the intersection of design, motion, and systems.
An astrolabe was an instrument for navigating by the sky: precise, handmade, and built to be used. The studio borrows that idea. Every project is an instrument, made with craft, clarity, and speed, and meant to stand on its own.

Astrolabs is run by M. Miftahus, a designer and engineer based in Banyuwangi, Indonesia. Working solo is a feature, not a constraint: no handoffs, no telephone game between design and code, and full accountability for what ships.
